Celebrate St Patrick's Day the New York way

Monday, 28 February 2011 12:27 PM

New York City is home to the ‘oldest, biggest and best’ St Patrick’s Day parade in the world and now you have the chance to hop across the pond and celebrate in true New York style.

Long-haul specialists Hayes & Jarvis suggest you join them this St Patrick’s Day for the annual Irish Parade and celebrate in style, staying at one of the city’s landmark hotels.

This year the celebrations are expected to be bigger than ever as the parade is preparing to celebrate 250 years on 17 March and Hayes & Jarvis are offering you the chance to stay in the heart of the action at the New Yorker Hotel in Midtown Manhattan.

Grab a prime seat to see Irish clansmen march along the famous Fifth Avenue past St Patrick’s Cathedral, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Irish Historical Society.

A four-night Hayes & Jarvis break at the three-star New Yorker Hotel in Manhattan costs £699 per person, a saving of 14 per cent (£116pp), and includes room-only accommodation and Virgin Atlantic flights from London Heathrow on 15 March.
