Themed cruises ready to depart for Amsterdam

Friday, 25 March 2011 9:18 AM

Amsterdam is one of Europe’s most exciting cities, but not a city you would associate with Hawaiian shirts, hula skirts and coconuts, especially in the cold and wintery months.

However this is exactly what is on offer from DFDS Seaways, as a new two-night Tropical Island party mini cruise departs from Newcastle 2 December.

So get your most outlandish Hawaiian shirt and enjoy a delicious meal in one of the onboard restaurants before dancing the night away in with the Hawaiian themed music in the night club.

The mini cruise to Amsterdam costs from £67 per person if you book at least 60 days in advance, saving 25 per cent.

Also on offer is a two night Rock n Roll mini cruise to Amsterdam which departs Newcastle 1 October and is also available from £67 per person if booked at least 60 days in advance.

The groovy Rock n Roll mini cruise allows cool cats to enjoys classic 60s inspired music, as well as enjoying live music, hula-hoop dancing and awards for the best Elvis impersonations.

Included in both cruises are two nights in a two berth en-suite cabin, live themed entertainment, coach transfers to and from the city centre, optional complimentary coach sightseeing tour and around five hours in Amsterdam.
