Hop to Germany for city shopping break

Friday, 8 April 2011 11:17 AM

A hop to the continent for a city break with an emphasis on shopping could provide the perfect way to let off some steam.

Hyatt hotels have launched a new package of breaks to enable people to explore the German shopping capitals from a luxurious base.

Retail therapy of the highest order will be offered at a range of city destinations, including Berlin, Hamburg, Mainz, Cologne, Dusseldorf or Zurich.

And for those who don’t want to have to think too much, some of the packages include consultations with personal shoppers and guided tours to all the best shops and boutiques.

For added luxury and a bit of star treatment, the Zurich package will see the fashion conscious dropped off at the retail hotspots in style in their very own limousine.

After a day of major retail therapy hotel guests can relax and unwind, in some cases with a complimentary foot massage, or use of the leisure facilities.

Prices vary from 315 to 533 Euros depending on the destination.

Packages also differ from city to city, but common features include overnight accommodation and breakfast, consultations with personal shoppers and transfer to the top shopping areas.
