The best of LA in one weekend
No sooner have you booked your business class flights to Los Angeles than you will be eagerly anticipating exactly what to do once you arrive in the City of Angels. If you're only going to be there a couple of days, there are a few places you simply must visit.
To learn more about the unmissable attractions to make time for once you have arrived on your cheap business class flights to the USA, read on.
Hollywood
Nothing sums up the spirit of California more than the home of the movies, Hollywood. This part of the city is known the world over and no trip to LA would be complete without seeing the Hollywood sign for yourself.
Yet there are even more iconic attractions to take in when you are here, including the Walk of Fame. Here, the biggest names in the industry are immortalised in a star, with countless of them now appearing on the pavements that run through Hollywood.
You should also visit Grauman's Chinese Theatre, where the hand and footprints of some of the biggest stars of the silver screen are moulded into the cement floor. The Kodak Theatre at Hollywood and Highland is also an interesting stop for any film buff, as this is where the Academy Awards are held every year.
Mulholland Drive
If you're a fan of the movies, you may have heard of the David Lynch film with the same name as this famous street. However, even if you have never seen it, it's worth making time to visit the famous postcode.
Part of its appeal is the spectacular views the location affords over Downtown LA, the Los Angeles Basin, the Hollywood Bowl and San Fernando Valley - allowing you to see many of the city's most iconic sights in one stroll or drive.
Malibu Creek State Park
Just 25 miles from Downtown LA is Malibu Creek State Park - and this is the place to come to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a few hours.
Again, this site will be easily recognisable to any film fans, as it is the location for several movies and television series, including Planet of the Apes.
There are plenty of activities to get stuck into here, including horse riding, hiking and fishing, while keen walkers have 15 miles of trail leading through woodlands to choose from.
When you booked your holiday in LA, you probably never imagined you would be going on a nature walk, but that's part of the city and wider county's charm. Come and discover this for yourself.
