Chocolate-themed city break launches in time for Easter

Monday, 26 March 2012 9:30 AM

To celebrate the launch of a brand new chocolate museum opening in York this Easter, The Grange Hotel are running a ‘York Chocolate City Break’ package.

The foodie event will include two nights' bed and breakfast at The Grange, which is housed in one of York's finest regency town houses. Highlights of the package include dinner at the hotel, a bespoke Chocolate Afternoon Tea and free entrance to the new chocolate museum.

The Chocolate – York’s Sweet Story museum aims to explore the historical relationship between the city and its sweet confectionary. Visitors can even try their hand at making chocolate during the tour, which tracks the Quaker roots of chocolate’s founding families to the world-wide phenomenon that is Kit Kat; taking chocoholics on a journey through the wonderful sweets and treats that we all love.

The Chocolate City Break package is priced from £82.50 per person per night. York’s Sweet Story opens on Saturday 31st March.
