Take the stress out of camping

Monday, 16 May 2011 8:42 AM

With 42 per cent of calls to campsites going unanswered Campingninja has been launched to take the stress and pain out of booking a camping break.

The website is the one stop shop for holidaymakers looking to find the ideal venue and accommodation and it also offers a price comparison tool to help consumers get the best price possible.

Users can search the accommodation by facilities and locations, from local farms to eco-friendly sites, by what they do want (e.g. dog-friendly, camp fires allowed) and also by what they don’t want (e.g. adult only, cold showers).

Holidaymakers can book and pay for everything on line as well as doing all the research they need including user-generated reviews and quality ratings. There is also a forum where campers can share all their tips and experiences.

The website also offers campsites the opportunity to list the pitches and facilities they have available as well as all the local attractions and rates.

Rhian Evans, Co-Director of Campingninja said: “Campsite operators need to find a way to ensure they make the most of their powerful niche in this domestic tourism market and improve their customer service experience and all-round visibility.”
