Tuesday, 1 February 2011 10:07 AM

Mount Haven in Marazion, Cornwall has been named as one of the top nine secret hotels in the world by travel website budgettravel.com, with the hotel and restaurant the only UK destination to make the list.

Other top picks in the list included hotels in Jamaica, Italy and the French Riviera, with the only proviso being that a stay costs less than £132 per night.

Mount Haven boasts great views across Mount’s Bay and St Michaels Mount as well as a convenient location near the ancient market town of Marazion, just outside Penzance.

Visitors to Mount Haven can enjoy a great value break this winter, as the hotel will refund the cost of your petrol used on the journey down to the West Country. This offer is open to all guests staying two nights or more in February.

Other offers currently available include a two-night all-inclusive break with champagne reception, afternoon tea and a spa treatment for £370 per person.
